I found some light mesh in the garden for this week's theme, the challenge then was how to light it. The t light candle came to mind and I used a reflector to send a little light onto the mesh.

Bright orange safety mesh wrapped around some stakes to protect the public from a hole in the footpath, in suburban Torrensville.
Golden rays of the late evening sun shining on safety mesh, turning parts of it yellow, while other parts remain orange.

An abstract closeup of 2 sheets of organza fabric twisted and folded together and their colours blend refracting orange and blue.
The mesh was measured at 2 1/2 inches although the background looks much wider, don't quite understand how it works.
Purple bag with dried lavender inside, it lives in my wardrobe and by now is causing a mess. Little bits seem to be raining out of it. But it still smells lovely.
Small sieve I use for sifting icing sugar. Used the Olympus Live Capture feature - taken in a dark room while I added light with a small flashlight and the reflections of the angled light made the bokeh balls.

Small organza frills on my christening bonnet. Surprisingly difficult to photograph. My mother had made my dress and bonnet herself, from an organza layered, rose coloured soft satin. The organza is also printed with small white, now rather faded, polka dots. For a few years after my christening, the Teddy bear I had gotten for my 1st birthday was wearing both the bonnet and the dress.
No focus staking this time. I had draped the bonnet on one of the LED lights for a nice light effect, and extra-illuminated it slightly sidewise with a second handheld LED light. Background is, of course, the indispensable glitter foam sheet. Developed in Luminar,
starting from LR, and enhanced in ON1 Photo RAW Develop and Effects.
A Happy Macro Monday, Everyone!
Rüschendetail meiner Taufhaube, ca. 2,5 cm breit. Meine Mutter hatte Taufkleid und -haube aus Organza und einem rosafarbenen Satinstoff (ebenfalls mit einer Lage Organza versehen, das mit kleinen, ehemals weißen Tupfen bedruckt ist) selbst genäht. Eine Zeit lang trug der Teddy, den ich zu meinem ersten Geburtstag geschenkt bekommen hatte, Taufkleid und -haube ;-)
Hier mal kein Fokus Stacking, sondern eine einzelne Aufnahme. Die Rüschen ansprechend zu fotografieren, erwies sich als gar nicht mal so einfach. Ich habe die Haube über einen (eingeschalteten) LED-Strahler drapiert und noch zusätzlich seitlich mit einem weiteren Strahler von Hand angeleuchtet. Entwickelt in Luminar, mit abschließenden Verfeinerungen in ON1 Photo RAW 2018.

Not really (but then you knew that). It's a small mesh that clips onto my cube light with four small magnets. It's approximately 1.25 inches across, lit here with one blue flash from the front and side and one orange flash from behind. HMM
