A merman and a dragon

Romanesque Church of St. Peter and St. Paul; town of Grand Brassac,

The Church of St. Peter and St. Paul is a fortress. Its nave is vaulted with three domes on pendants, vaulting which also seems to goutterots later, according to the discrepancies between the bays and bays and the asymmetry of the past. The choir of two bays is vaulted with a semicircular cradle. Externally, the bare walls is only broken by flat buttresses. A defensive system occupies the entire top of the vaults. In the West, a watchtower answers the bell tower which is almost above the third bay; the square tower of this strain is adorned with arches applies. To the north, a remarkable portal shows, among many other romanesque reliefs and five Gothic polychrome sculptures very clever sculpture, influenced by the Angoulême. We asked above and below, of polychrome statues, Roman and Gothic, which deserve detailed study.
