Al matinèe

del giovedì

ballo liscio

al Garden Blu

con l'orchestra Serenade.

Spengono le luci

tacciono le voci

e nel buio senti sussurrar:

Prego:

vuoi ballare con me?...

Grazie,

preferisco di no:

non ballo il tango col casquè

perciò...

grazie.

Prego, grazie, scusi...

tornerò

Appellation: Casablanca Vale

Open Networked Learning–Architectures of Participation

The Web, social tools and the convergence of different digital media have brought about more opportunities for learners and educators throughout the world. Exposure and access to diverse local and international online communities of practice, along with the blend of formal and informal learning, challenge us to re-think our basic assumptions about knowledge acquisition, traditional classroom delivery and e-learning.

5 months and totally blase about the first sighting of snow. Urg. Cold stuff. Bring me my pipe, slippers and glass of Port, Jeeves.

Just a random house wine from a local pub. Was practicing with the HDR App on my Android phone. Which does a great job at bringing out the colors and brightness in darker under exposed areas, while toning down the brightness in overly bright spots.

Wednesday night. I selected enough bottles from the new ones I picked up last night to make a full set of 30. Not having any idea about their state of cleanliness I gave the new bottles a good scrub in hot water with a bottle brush.

Having done that, I thought to inspect the insides... and then to do the same to my old bottles that I'd cleaned the other day. And found moldy spots in several of them.

So, not wanting to do this half-arsed, I put ALL 30 bottles through a soak in super-hot water, followed by vigorous scrub with bottle brush, followed by blast with bottle cleaner then visual inspection.

Eventually I had 30 very clean bottles.

Ok! This was supposed to be a set up of a chair with a bag and some shadow - in comes Merlot, my cat with her mission to sabotage any arrangement I have been satisfied with...

This hat has a different sort of color combo that made me think of merlot wine.. the mohair and wool locks I used to decorate it are super soft and bring together the colors of the hat in an unexpected way!
