Passengers in Halifax await the opportunity to board 85, a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with Mellor Strata body in Calder Country names, on the 11:55 service 562 with Barkisland as its destination.
A Scottish Fire & Rescue appliance, still with legacy Strathclyde FRS livery, attends alongside an Aerial Rescue Pump pictured behind. To the left of frame, a double crewed Scottish Ambulance Service, Accident & Emergency, resource sits on standby alongside a local divisional police unit/cell van.
Whilst ordinarily it would be SORT (Special Operations Response Team) who would attend such calls to ensure firefighter safety, they are allocated to another call at present.

In September new buses were put into service for the Haarlem-IJmond concession. This includes these minibuses for service 14 between Heemstede and Buitenhuizen.
A lucky timed shot at the depot entrance sees both of Canavan Travel of Kilsyth's EVM Cityline bodied Mercedes-Benz Sprinters YA23NUF & YA23NUH being prepared for their evening services.

Having since been rebranded into a livery for the revised Hertford town bus network, Vectare (Central Connect) Mercedes Benz Sprinter/EVM CC04GAL (223) is seen on Haymeads Lane in Bishops Stortford working a rare occasion on Route 305 to Stansted Airport 13/04/24
For some time I’ve wanted an Ambulance model which I could place alongside bus models from the 80’s and 90’s. This Hong Kong example, a MKII Ford Transit was the closest I could find in 1:76 scale. Some nail polish remover and a few waterslide transfers and she is now a Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) wagon. Some creative licence was taken but I’m very happy with the result. A nice way to ease myself back in and kick start my motivation for this hobby.
In this picture are; Transit Ambulance in all white with solid blue line along the side, identifying decals, Service crest and “plant pot” style revolving blue lights. Box body Mercedes Benz Sprinter in all white with retroreflective green & yellow “Battenburg” markings along the side, identifying decals, Service crest & NHS Scotland logo and LED blue lights. Also visible on the side of the Mercedes are the charging point and battery storage locker - the ramp which forms the Offside rear door can also be seen. In the background is “NHS Lanarkside’s Mossend District General Hospital” and it’s Emergency Care Annex. To the left part of a Patient Transport Service (Non-Emergency) Ambulance can be seen in all over white with identifying decals and Service crests. To the right is a second Mercedes Sprinter A&E unit.
The diorama was created using the “Holby A&E” kit from Kingsway Models, based on the fictional Emergency Department from BBC’s Casualty & Holby City. The Transit is a Code 3 adaption of a Tiny model. The Mercedes models are by Oxford Diecast. The PTS Ambulance in background left is a Code 3 adaption of a Cararama Ford Transit minibus. Models are in 1:76 scale or OO Gauge.
Seen in Ladybank is Moffat & Williamson's new Mellor Strata bodied Mercedes-Benz Sprinter LV73ZHT on service 94 from St Andrews to Newburgh.
Seen in Dundee is Moffat & WIlliamson of St Fort Mellor Strata bodied Mercedes-Benz Sprinter LN66EXK.

My stay at Buckfastleigh, South Devon Railway on this occasion was much longer than planned as I watched, with fascination, the preparations for and the subsequent loading onto a low loader of GWR Pullman 'Aquila'.
This gave me the opportunity to photograph the escort vehicle BT65COA 'Big Ron' a 2015 Mercedes Benz Sprinter of DCS Logistics. With this picture I have launched a long-planned album 'Escort Vehicles'.

Moffat & Williamson of St Fort and Glenrothes have been avid collectors of the Mellor Strata minibus over the past few years; amassing a collection of twenty-eight at last count, either new or acquired secondhand.
Seen in Kennoway is LO19YYC which was acquired from Stringer of Pontyfract.

A busy little bus in Bath.
C.T. Coaches Mercedes Sprinter BG63VUV was seen heading towards Bath bus station working a 700 service from Sion Hill in March 2025. This was later seen heading away from the bus station with a 734 service to Bathwick, which I presume are interworked tendered services.

The Trossachs Explorer is back for a second year. This year McColl's of Dumbarton operate the service utilising two EVM Cityline bodied Mercedes-Benz Sprinters, a small vehicle than last years wheel-forward Wrightbus Streetlites ran by Midland Bluebird.

Good to see Majorette embracing the most recent generation Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van and one which looks to be already getting new body styles and recolours. For the low price it is a sensible mix of metal cab and plastic rear Ambulance bodywork with neat detailing and authentic Ambulanz livery.

Airporter's 2016 Mercedes Benz Sprinter EVM VUI 8236 arrived at EVM's Crawley premises this afternoon, 18th July, 2019, on the back of an Irish registered truck. Presumably, Airporter now have some new EVM minicoaches.

When she was still a puppy, we tried a mobile groomer for Izzy. She resisted mightily and the groomer fled the scene, Izzy’s claws untrimmed. Those claws are near-lethal now.
I actually picked up two of these by mistake as I only intended to buy the one but it was a big toy shop and lots of diecasts soon got thrown in my basket! ;-p Unlicensed but super accurate replica of a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter which literally hides its unlicensed status by its lack of badging.
