Police escort Ambulance to A&E.
Having called ahead to the Emergency Department with a “Standby” or Pre-Alert, advising Hospital staff of the imminent arrival of a patient to the Resuscitation Area, the Ambulance now arrives with an escort by; Police Scotland (PolScot), Roads Policing Unit (RPU) Audi - SV12DPZ and Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS), Paramedic Response Unit (PRU) BMW i3 - LJ66EUU.
Mossend District General Hospital, part of NHS Lanarkside is a medium sized teaching Hospital within Belshotmuir, North Lanarkside. While without Major Trauma specialists it has a 24/7 Stroke Team and Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PPCI) for the treatment of Heart Attacks, a catheter is inserted through the wrist and passes through the blood vessels to the blocked artery and removes the clot while leaving a stent to keep the vessel open and blood flowing. This facility also allows for day patient angiography. With 510 bed capacity, Mossend serves a wide catchment area including several towns, multiple villages and a major motorway connecting Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Police vehicles are a common sight at Hospitals across the country, some have their own dedicated Officers with an office to use. Again, not pictured but often seen at Hospitals across Britain are the Red Cross, between social care services, assisting with arranging post discharge home visits and care packages to assisting the Ambulance Services with low acuity discharges - those brought to Hospital by Ambulance and who require one due to mobility but don’t require treatment or interventions from a clinically trained crew. Indeed, out of shot, Mossend has a Portakabin in spare ground next to A&E for use as a crew room/rest room by SAS, Police Scotland, Red Cross.
In reality this is a diorama using Kingsway Models 1:76 scale kit of the equally fictional Holby Emergency Department from BBC shows Casualty and Holby City. The models are a mix of 1:76 and 1:64 scale from varying manufactures and include a number of Code 3 adaptions, my own work, except for the PolScot Transit which is Code 3 and bought online.

Crawley Luxury took on some contracts when Skinners ceased trading at the end of 2019. The only coach to change hands was this Mercedes Benz Sprinter Optare Soroco, seen at Crawley today 14th June 2020. FX03 ECT had been new to Skinners and has also carried the 6 SKN mark.
Travelmasters, Sheerness, Mercedes Benz Sprinter Ferqui FX09 YKF works a rail replacement service from Haywards Heath to Plumpton on 6th October, 2018. It was new to Travelgreen, Doncaster.
Seen at Heathrow Airport is CCH (Comet Car Hire) of West Drayton Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Y9CCH which was new in 2023.
Seen in Oxford now replaced from their on-demand "Pick me up" work is EVM bodied Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 971 - BU18YRN now working service 11X from Oxford City Centre to the BMW Plant but liveried for the Blenheim Palace Shuttle Bus.

Having been repainted into the current livery since last sighting, Vectare (Central Connect) Mercedes-Benz Sprinter/EVM Cityline RX23TFK (208) heads along Hadham Road in Bishops Stortford whilst working a Route 35 service from Hertford.
At the start of 2024, the service number for the route between Hertford and Bishops Stortford changed from 351 to merely 35, bringing it more into line with other Vectare route numbers 29/01/24

A wet and grey October day…
With Storm Amy passing its way across the UK, Simonds (Central Connect) Mercedes Benz Sprinter/EVM Cityline RX25TFU (230) is seen passing along Rye Street in Bishops Stortford whilst putting in a stint on town route 34 to St Michael’s Hurst 03/10/25
On a bright sunny morning, Sanders Mercedes Benz Sprinter EVM Cityline type number 222 - RX22 SKU is captured on Cromer Road at Lower Gresham as it works the above journey on Sheringham High School service 403. From Monday to Saturday this vehicle spends most of the day working Holt “Hopper” Town service 8, however before and after taking up these duties it does manage to regularly escape onto other services including Coasthopper CH1 and school services 65 & 403 in term time.
From Monday 31st October 2022, following the half term holiday, Sheringham High School contract service 401 was split into two separate sections. A revised service 401 now commences at Edgefield where it circumnavigates the village and having reached the A148 Holt Bypass, by following an anti-clockwise circuit via Plumstead Green, Baconsthorpe and Hempstead, the route runs directly to SHS by way of the A148 and Upper Sheringham. The afternoon homeward bound journey returns via Upper Sheringham, the A148, Holt Bypass and B1149 through to Edgefield before following the Plumstead Green, Baconsthorpe and Hempstead circuit in the same anti-clockwise direction. This leaves pupils from Gresham, Lower Gresham and Aylmerton who are now catered for by service 403 which is probably a closed contract as it does not appear on Sanders website. As a result of these changes the very narrow Edgefield - Hempstead and Baconsthorpe - North Barningham sections of the former service 401 route have been abandoned.
A previously used location, although this is the first time that service 403 has appeared amongst my uploads and somewhat curiously I have yet to capture vehicle 222 working on the streets of Holt.
These little blue buses are quite difficult to capture, although fortunately I’ve only got two to hunt down now.
Launched in 2020, JustGo is an on-demand bus service operating for people travelling in North Lincolnshire. Passengers book and pay directly from their smartphone through the JustGo North Lincs mobile app and, using the latest technology, track the bus in real-time to the meeting point of choice. East Yorkshire as awarded the contract and uses 6 Mercedes Benz City 45 minibuses, alongside a purple example on loan from the Oxford bus company.
