Villefranche Sur Mer adjoins the city of Nice to the east and is 10 kilometres south-west of Monaco on the French Riviera. The bay of Villefranche is one of the deepest natural harbours of any port in the Meditarranean Sea and provides safe anchorage for very large ships, although it is necessary to tender to get to shore. The area around Villefranche has been settled since prehistoric times and Celto-Ligurian tribes roamed the area and established farming communities in the surrounding hills. Villefranche is a well known winter residence for royalty and the wealthy. The population of Villefranche is just over 5,000.
La Seyne-sur-Mer[1] (La Sanha de Mar en occitan provençal et La Sagno de Mar selon la norme mistralienne), est une commune française située au bord de la Méditerranée dans le département du Var et la région Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. Ses habitants sont appelés les Seynois et les Seynoises.
La ville, qui compte 58 252 habitants (2007), est la deuxième ville du département. Elle se situe au cœur d'une aire urbaine estimée à 564 823 habitants, la 10e aire urbaine de France. La commune est une station balnéaire avec son quartier des Sablettes, elle possède un port de plaisance et un port de pêche. Les maisons néo-provençales des Sablettes, construites après la guerre, sont de l'architecte Fernand Pouillon. La Seyne-sur-Mer a dû son développement principalement à l'implantation de constructions navales.

Quartier situé entre la mer (plage de Fabrégas), la forêt de Janas (Corniche varoise) et le quartier de la Verne.Il est desservi par la ligne 81 (au départ ou → Fabregas).
