Greetings all, back online now regularly for a few weeks, hope everyone well and I'm looking forward to some serious photo gazing...

This shot was taken in western Nepal back in May. The temp was well in the 40s (celcius) ... there was sweat in my eyes, everything was wavering so I've tried to recreate the image. The tiger must have been thinking "Will I or wont I? Nah, it's too damn hot..."

The items on the menu in the foreground are Barasingha (Swamp deer).

She certainly gets a good choice off the menu in her chosen patch. HBBBT have a great day folks ;0)

Timing is key! Studying the menu of a pizzeria at the very moment a truck passes by, a truck with a landscape image made of food! Broccoli trees and all manner of different foods making up the scene. I just loved the juxtaposition here. Enjoy full screen by pressing 'L' and have a great week ahead!

Altra foto scattata per questa geniale iniziativa www.flickr.com/groups/italiangirlsphotographers/discuss/7... Happy Bokeh Wednesday!

It was a bit breezy on the beach this afternoon. Somewhere in my head I remembered I wanted a menu for the 365 treasure hunt, number 40. Although, this isn't a menu that would draw me into the cafe.

In the restaurant 'Le Q Salé' in rue du Pavé-de-Beaulieu, Guérande. We enjoyed the menu du jour - 10.50 euros for main course, dessert, wine and coffee - super value!

Sunlight is filtering through the window onto this wall with such an eclectic mix making a lovely shadow of the light decorated with hanging spoons in the top left.

Katie, lover of rectangles, helps me set up menus for the next two weeks. Obviously she, too, is a big fan of Jacques Pepin.

(Pudge and Puff are fine, just not in photos this week. Even cats need time off, I guess...)

Menu Falls is small and not very well known waterfall located in Zion National Park. Photographing this waterfall was “plan b” because my original plan to photograph the Narrows was squashed . Originally, my friend and I were going to hike up the Narrows to capture fall foliage but the river wasn’t running clear. Although it was clear in the St. George area there must have been significant rainfall the day before upstream that made the Virgin River, which runs through the Narrows, full of mud and sediment.

Menu Fall is very easy to miss. I had actually never heard of this waterfall until one of the shuttle operators mentioned it while driving through the main canyon. It’s tucked away in a little area thats seems secluded from the rest of the park. The small size of the waterfall makes it a little challenging to photograph in regards to finding a compelling angle and composition. In the end I was happy with this composition because it makes it feel as though it isn’t even in the U.S. desert southwest.
