Tomorrow is the #MRSL2020 Grand Finale and I can’t believe it! It feels like a long time coming, but so fast at the same time!
And. What. A. Journey. It. Has. Been. I am probably the happiest I’ve ever been living my Second Life during these past months competing. Never been this creatively challenged & pushed to be better every single time. And coming with zero experience makes it that much more thrilling for me to see & compare where I am now. Who would’ve thought that CHASE could be an actual blogger, taking fancy pictures and walking down runways in fancy clothes?! *AND* I made such amazing friends along the way! All thanks to this competition and MISS SL Organization
As cliche as it may sound, for me, this really does show that if you open yourself up to new challenges, new people and allow yourself to learn from them, you really are able to GROW. So whatever the result, it really becomes secondary to just that. A crown to go with it will be icing on the tastiest ice cream peanut butter cake in the tri-state area 😋

The dark skies of England cried teardrops of purple rain the day the world bid farewell to “Alexander the Great”. So MR SL ♛ USA wanted to dress in a way that honors both McQueen’s legacy & future. For that, he chose a look that cohesively blends in with the mysterious Victorian style of the A/W2009 collection, yet modernized with touches of embroidery from the recent A/W2018 collection. In this ensemble, he envisions walking down the streets of 19th Century London to watch opera, while protecting himself from the constant drizzle the city is infamous for. He wears a classic gentleman silhouette with a dark long coat-tailed tuxedo & pin striped grey trousers but mixed with an edgy silver-embroidered vest paired with a deep purple furstole & fingerless gloves that complement his paisley tie. And not to forget an umbrella that comes with a surprise dash of American flair!

"Took a tram to Angel Manor for my #MrSL2020 interview!"
Something looks familiar…?
For my #MrSL2020 interview, I wanted to really dress the part while still having some fun by paying homage to the organization behind Mr SL itself… So I put together an outfit inspired by none other than the Miss SL Organization logo!
For this, I recolored a suit from the incredible Adam Edelstein and retextured the tie and scarf accordingly! Since my interview’s in the morning, I figured the light greys and accent blacks of the logo would be suitable for a daytime look. Add to that my checkered blue scarf that represent the logo’s diamond prims and my striped tie representing its angular lines. And of course, MR SL USA would never step out of the house without an American pin on his chest! I wanted the look to say “zaddy” but also say “please turn your books to page 257”.
Top it all off with the new Atlas hair by Stealthic plus glasses which are both inspired by Clark Kent, cause I’ve been SUPER nervous for the interviews so I figured being Superman would give me some courage 😅

"QUEST FOR THE BABBAGE BLUEPRINTS"
Inspired by his favorite steampunk movies from childhood “The Time Machine” and “Treasure Planet”, MR SL ♛ USA for his second #MRSL2020 Photo Challenge decided to take on the protagonist role of his very own epic sci-fi film, as a time traveling detective in search of the lost blueprints of the legendary 'Lefevre Airships' in the city of New Babbage!
[SYNOPSIS] — "…A millennium into the future in the year 3020, the diabolical company ‘Enimo Enterprises’ has conquered the Earth and turned all of mankind into steam-powered robot models! They’ve successfully overthrown all world governments using their fleet of indestructible ‘Lefevre Airships’ and took 17 MR SL contestants hostage! With the help of his trusty sidekick ‘Contra the Owl’, MR SL ♛ USA manages to escape and use his magic ‘Staff of Time’ to travel back to 19th century New Babbage to steal and destroy the ship’s blueprints before they were even made …and save the world!
