As our old backyard fence began to tilt and threaten to fall into the laneway, we had to secure it before we were able to replace it with a new one that will hopefully be with us for many years.

Found a couple of books on Sashiko embroidery on the way to the photography section at the library. I'm now hooked!
This is my first knee mend which i know is super untidy but they're old jeans and I've come to rather like the shambles.

A fence in the country is very important, it shows the pride of the owner, it keeps the cattle off the round, makes it a little harder rustle the cattle, gives everyone a bit of understanding where one ownership ends and another begins.
… I had the supreme pleasure of meeting Mr. Louis Mendes with his vintage Graflex Speed Graphic camera outfitted with two flash units and a Polaroid back and his friend. A true gentleman and very interesting to talk with. I felt a bit guilty taking this portrait with my mobile, but I was out making groceries, so I had to use the tool at hand. ⚜️

WOW! That is so incredible! I was on the train with friends just trying to be a hack street photographer and he was on the train! Had no idea who he was or why he was carrying those awesome bags! Life is so weird! That is the coolest ever! Sounds like an interesting man and artist! SO COOL!

In Portugal, a Casa do Cantoneiro is a house built by road maintenance crews (cantoneiros) as a base while repairing roads. This historic Casa do Cantoneiro, located along the road to the Caldera of Faial on the island of Faial in the Azores, has been repurposed as an interpretation center for the Caldera within Faial Nature Park (Parque Natural do Faial).

Nothing special today, pretty tired me and some buddies went on a 24 mile cycle with a few pub stops, it wasnt too bad to start with nice downhills, the end wasnt as nice 3 mile uphills.
