And how can you mend a broken heart?
How can you stop the rain from falling down?
How can you stop the sun from shining?
What makes the world go round?
How can you mend a this broken man?
How can a loser ever win?
Please help me mend my broken heart and let me live again.

… I had the supreme pleasure of meeting Mr. Louis Mendes with his vintage Graflex Speed Graphic camera outfitted with two flash units and a Polaroid back and his friend. A true gentleman and very interesting to talk with. I felt a bit guilty taking this portrait with my mobile, but I was out making groceries, so I had to use the tool at hand. ⚜️
Google him if you are not familiar.

Macro Mondays: Redux 2016--My Favorite Theme of the Year
My redux is from the November 21st theme - Stich. I had essentially taken this exact same shot, but when I went to post it I had forgotten to factor in the end of daylight saving time.and the the posting for that week had closed. This was one of my favorite MM shots, so I am very happy to have a second chance to share.
