The Menai Suspension Bridge was opened in 1826 and was the first of it's type in the world and connected Anglesey Island with the mainland.

Previous, people had to take a ferry or a muddy walk across at low tide. It revolutionised life on Anglesey. Especially the laundry bill.

BTW there are 3 million people in Wales and 6 million sheep.
