All have ebbed never to return as like faded History pages.
They silently and slowly crumble then fade away.
A collage of memories! My grandparents, a Kansas City skyline, the house I remember and portions of letters they wrote to each other are all included. Still, it doesn’t show the Friday night movies in downtown theaters or the family gatherings for holidays. Not pictured are the trips to the Plaza or birthday parties or stories read to us. Also missing—flying homemade kites with my grandfather and a card game around the table. The memories are all there, just not visible….

A favorite spot for a Friday night pizza pickup supper. I can't begin to count how many loaded veggie pies were consumed here after wrapping up a hectic week of work!
To make a last recall on the summer.... untill next year, you will come back!!!!

Summer tradition 夏の風物詩・すだれ・水撒き・だんだん見かけなくなってきました・・・
This collage of memories is based on the life and beauty of another one of my great aunts, Mattie Malvina Hamilton. She was the sixth of seven daughters, born in Kentucky in 1880. Although I don’t remember her, I do know that she was a favorite sister of my grandmother. I wish I had listened more carefully to her stories of “Aunt Matt”.....
CHEF clabudak wants us to experiment with vintage-tinged collage techniques, a genre that some of us may find difficult at first. She says, "I wanted to give others a chance to branch out a bit if they haven't tried it before" (or even if they have!!).
