► A structure of a shed at the periphery of a rice field with a row of pencil-thin beetle-nut trees behind it.
Melor is a borough that covers quite a large land mass with many villages in it. It is in the Kota Bharu District in the state of Kelantan, situated just 15 km from the Kota Bharu Township proper. As most of the townships in Malaysia, one can see drastic changes in its arrangement and set-up after only a few kilometers out of the town perimeter – and this place is no exception. One will immediately feel the country living upon setting foot at the place.
This place, located some 450km away from Kuala Lumpur, is where I spent some years of my childhood. It filled with serenity and tranquility no other place can offer – only we the sons of the soil know it best. Looking out in the open rice field with the breeze gently pat on the face and seeing a graceful dance of the coconut leaves in tandem with the wind blow, the sounds of ducks quacking and cattles mooing in the distance and the chirping of the birds in the trees; are all beyond words.
Every time I am back to this place, it does not take me long to feel what I was feeling when I was a kid. The ever-familiar sights, smells and sounds of it are so refreshing.
And the avalanche of feeling in me is priceless.
Artist Statement:
Lacrima Machina is a meditation on emergence what it means to be formed from the slime of influence, trapped in the drainage pipes of beauty culture, technology, and emotional residue. The face isn't crying, but everything around her weeps. The fluid isn’t water; it's artificial amniotic fluid, the lubricant of rebirth in a world that can't decide whether to consume or adore her.
This piece explores the bodily grotesque in the digital age. It's not horror for horror’s sake it’s intimacy that feels alien. The skin gleams with unreal perfection, yet it's hemmed in by decay, clotted forms, and industrial rot. I wanted to explore what happens when beauty becomes a machine part lubricated, slick, desirable, but trapped in its own shine.

We would say this is the first geometrical print dress that we have, no? As you can see, the top part is quite sheer therefore wearer would need to wear a slip underneath, but the skirt is completely lined. This light chiffon is in dark blue and decorated with red, white and yellow dots and boxes. How cute! This little babe would best fit UK4-UK10.

Artist Statement:
"The Patch Didn’t Take" is about what happens when the system tries to fix you, and the fix fails. This figure is still human — more human than many of the others in my work. He bleeds. He breathes. He lies beneath an artificial light that doesn’t warm or reveal — it only scans.
His wounds are minor, but symbolic. They’re failed attempts. To be better. To be updated. To be okay. He lies in a narrow space where nothing grows. The walls are too close. The system moved on without him. And so he’s here — unpatched, unprocessed, undone.

Artist Statement:
"Subroutine: Limbo" is about what gets left behind in the places no longer accessed. This figure isn’t dead. He isn’t dreaming. He is parked — trapped in an unused part of the mind or machine, a piece of self that was meant to run something that’s now obsolete.
The mirror is not a portal; it’s a memory cache. The walls are not prison—they’re storage. He exists in low-power mode, barely seen, fully felt. This piece came from a place of wondering: What part of myself did I archive so long ago I forgot where I put it?
He’s still waiting to be reactivated. But the call may never come.
