Tumon Bay is a bay in the United States territory of Guam, opening to the Philippine Sea. It is bounded to the north by Two Lovers Point and to the south by Ypao Point. The entirety of the bay falls within the Tumon Bay Marine Preserve, also known as the Tumon Bay Marine Preserve Area (MPA) and Tumon Preserve, one of five marine preserves on Guam. The Preserve measures 4.54 square kilometers and is roughly two miles long. The platform of the fringing reef that separates the open ocean from the lagoon is up to 1,450 feet (440 m) wide. and up to one mile from the shore. The bay is located off of the Tumon area, the tourist center of the island, in the village of Tamuning. The bay is extensively utilized for recreation and fishing.

A Scaly Laughingthrush (Trochalopteron subunicolor) was inspecting foraging opportunity nearby sitting on a beautiful perch. That day was gloomy and was raining. I managed to get it in tough light but eventually managed one frame. Pics was taken from Hilly arears of Darjeeling, West Bengal, India.
None of my windows are standard, so I had to measure and order custom made blinds for my bedroom. I chose two inch wood slats, stained pecan. Today, I installed them and I really love the way they look.
Last night, I developed the Copy Film shots from this past weekend. Not bad. In fact, very workable. I have to really try to get the sky to not blow out (the film is orthochromatic, so blues expose first).
I'll have more to show you tomorrow, but for now, this will do.

Ha a play on words I thought this was a neat fix, anyone that has played with a seamstress tape will know this.
Had fun looking at measuring devices at the Antique Market today. Amazing all the different things one would find.
Today the conditions were very difficult for taking a good landscape picture. I had to use unusual parameters, that I would not normally use. Wide aperture, high iso, fast exposure. Because in every 2 seconds waves splashed over my head. There was no way to use my tripod. I had my back to the sea, protecting my camera and in between the waves I tried to snap some pictures as quickly as possible. The filters needed to be wiped after each wave. 15 minutes later my clothes were soaking wet and I had to get back to my car. But the exciting and interesting foreground forced me to try these desperate measures.
Measuring a length of 1,141 feet and 101 feet at its highest, the bridge is the 2nd longest of the Valley viaducts spanning the floor of the Shenandoah. The current structure #631 replaced its predecessor at the same location in 1918. US Route 340 parallels the structure and in 2012 was realigned closer to the bridge eliminating a very scenic open field location.

taken for this weeks Macro Mondays theme 'hobby'. As you couldn't use anything to do with cameras or photography my other (alongside) hobby is birdwatching. This tiny feather measuring one & half inches belonged to a chicken...once.

I am not known for imagination so I just took a picture of a ruler.
One of the 350 Deer at Knole Park. Knole has a herd consisting of Fallow and Sika Deer.
Knole is a country house and former archbishop's palace situated within Knole Park, a 1,000-acre park located immediately to the south-east of Sevenoaks in west Kent. The house apparently ranks in the top five of England's largest houses, under any measure used, occupying a total of four acres. It was the home of the Sackville family for many years. At one time it was owned by Henry VIII.
The goldcrest is the smallest European bird, it measures 9cm and weights 5g. In winter this bird looks really different than in summer : he is so big ! The difference is really impressive.
