All diese Themen möchte dieser Roman abdecken, den Anika Decker in gewohnt witzig-unterhaltsamer Weise verfasst hat. Dennoch hat mich das neue Buch von ihr nicht so abgeholt wie der wirklich sehr berührende und doch humorvolle Roman „Wir von der anderen Seite“, den sie 2019 veröffentlichte.
Diesmal geht es um Nina, die kurz vor ihrem 50. Geburtstag steht. Sie ist geschieden, ihr Mann hat eine neue Frau und mit dieser gerade Zwillinge bekommen, während ihre eigenen Kinder längst erwachsen sind. Es geht auch um Lena, Ninas jüngere Schwester, die stets dazugehören will und sich doch ausgeschlossen, die sich immer minderwertig fühlt. Lenas Ehemann Flori wiederum arbeitet für dieselbe Firma, zu der auch Ninas Arbeitgeber gehört, eine Produktionsfirma.
Dort geht es vor allem um drastische sexuelle Belästigung am Arbeitsplatz, insbesondere von besonders übergriffigen Schauspielern, und es geht um den Umgang innerhalb der Organisation mit den Vorwürfen, die, wen wundert es, vor allem vertuscht werden sollen.
Und zusätzlich geht es auch noch um die Mutter von Nina und Lena, die in jungen Jahren eine untypische Mutter war, auch schon mal ihre Töchter für Wochen allein ließ, um mit ihrer Freundin im Campingbus zu reisen. Etwas, das vor allem Nina ihr bis heute nie verzieh.
