I’m grateful that in this chaotic life I live in, a life without maids, I can still afford to have some ME time... a time to just step back and indulge myself in something just for me. I realize how lucky I am because I know that there are women out there who hardly have the time to breathe or comb their hair in between work, errands, chores, social obligations and taking care of their families. So yes, I relish every sweet minute of my ME time... thanks in large part to a husband who is an equal partner and a daughter who more than does her fair share ♥

And today was one of those days! I feel snuffly, exhausted! But my friend bought me flowers for no other reason than we are friends! Is there anything better than that....and a chocolate muffin!
We've all had those days when things seem all wrong. Days where we feel like we just can't catch a break. Days when things are just too damn much.
This is when it is so important that we take time out for us. Step back. Pull away. Unplug. Sign out. There are those times when we need to show up for ourselves. When we need to cheer for and route for ourselves.
