Eng 👉 (from cart to automobile) 1933 McLaughlin-Buick Convertible model 68. Original price was 3 200 $. In 1892, Ontario cart manufacturer Robert McLaughlin made his sons George and Sam partners. During a trip to the United States, to learn more about the automobile, Sam meets Billy Durant, owner of the Buick brand. In 1907, Durant landed at the McLaughlins in Oshawa and signed a 15-year agreement with them to supply Buick engines to the very recent McLaughlin Motor Car Company.

Lori KingsleyLori Kingsley finished last year’s Boston Marathon in 2:54:03, to place seventh in the women’s masters division. She improved her time to 2:51:31 at the Twin Cities Marathon in October. Kigsley won the Wineglass Marathon in back-to-back years, 2004 and 2005. She also won the masters title and placed among the top four women at two marathons in 2006—placing third at the Shamrock Marathon in Virginia Beach in March and fourth at the Niagara Falls International Marathon. In September of 2009 she ran 56:55 to win the USA Masters 15 km Championships in Buffalo, New York. This February, during her Boston Marathon build-up, Kingsley captured the USA Masters Half Marathon Championships in Melbourne, Florida with a time of 1:20:32.Kingsley lives in Wysox, Pennsylvania with her husband and three daughters. She works as a licensed mental health therapist. She is coached by Darren De Reuck, the husband and coach of 2009 Boston Marathon masters champion Colleen De Reuck.

The McLaughlin Library at the University of Guelph is a striking example of Brutalist architecture from the late 1960s. Its bold concrete design and geometric lines reflect the era’s focus on function and permanence. As the university’s main library, it serves as a central hub for research, collaboration, and campus life. The building’s façade, with its repeating window patterns and textured surfaces, stands as a reminder of modernist ideals in institutional architecture that continue to shape the university’s identity today.
Bay mud reflects the orange twilight during the extremely low King Tide. Seen from the mouth of Strawberry Creek, where it empties into the heavily silted South Sailing Basin. The San Francisco skyline glows brightly and crisply. This skyline extends from Rincon Hill on the left, to the Transamerica Pyramid on the right, with Salesforce Tower and Sutro tower quite prominent in the middle. This skyline is even seen through the windows of the closed Hs Lordships restaurant on the far right. The single tower of the easter span of the San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge is perfectly exposed. A few stars can be seen through the thin dark clouds, and a few shorebirds wade in the shallows.
The tide was extremely low, about -2 feet, during January King Tides. The sun was 9.8 degrees below the horizon, in the middle of Nautical Twilight, 39 minutes after sunset. This spot is near the Brickyard Cove section of the McLaughlin Eastshore State Seashore in Berkeley, California.
Bay mud reflects the orange sky, sparkling and textured, complementing the San Francisco skyline. This mud is the South Sailing Basin of the Berkeley Marina, and the low tide makes it easy to see just how heavily silted it is now. The building on the right, just beyond the mud, is the now-closed Hs Lordships restaurant.
The tide was extremely low, -1.2 feet, during this January's New Moon King Tides. The sun was 9.9 degrees below the horizon, about 51 minutes after sunset, during Nautical Twilight. Seen from a spur of the San Francisco Bay Trail, in McLaughlin Eastshore State Park, managed by East Bay Regional Park District. Berkeley, California.

Seen here in the operators garage is this former Ulsterbus Volvo B10BLE with a Wrights Renown body. It was Citybus fleet number 2839, CCZ 8839. It is now with McLaughlin of Clonmany, Co.Donegal.
A rainbow soars over Berkeley, heralding the end of a long series of winter storms.
Faint supernumerary bands can be seen inside the main bow. A very faint double bow can be seen in the upper right. A band of low clouds hides the peaks of the Berkeley Hills.
Several Berkeley landmarks are in view. The Berkeley I-80 pedestrian bridge is on the left, and the partially constructed Berkeley Commons life science campus dominates the foreground. The Campanile is visible, and both the Berkeley Lab and the Lawrence Hall of Science are visible on the green hillsides. Strawberry Canyon and Panoramic Hill are also visible.

Playboy Playmates Amy Leigh Andrews, Shanna McLaughlin, Jaclyn Swedberg, Tiffany Toth, Pilar Lastra, Ciara Price and 40 Girls of Playboy Golf were in attendance during the 5th Annual Playboy Golf Scramble at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino and Eagle Falls Golf Course November 11-12, 2011. The weekend’s festivities included a fabulous Pairings Party inside the resort’s new LIT lounge with flwoing drinks and gourmet fare prepared by Fantasy Springs Resort Casino’s expert chefs.
Saturday morning, golfers and the Girls of Playboy Golf hit the links at Eagle Falls. Lunch on the course is included, along with fun and games such as double hula hoops and dressing up as Hef himself, courtesy of the Girls of Playboy Golf.
Saturday night, golfers are invited to the Awards Banquet, replete with a fabulous dinner, photos with the Playboy Playmates, trophies and gifts for the best golfers. Players also cast their votes for the Playboy Girl of Golf who will win a trip to the acclaimed Playboy Mansion.
The Playboy Golf Scramble is one of the most unique, exciting and entertaining golfing events in the world. Celebrities, professional athletes, Playboy Playmates and amateur golfers are arranged in four person teams that compete against each other in a scramble format filled with entertaining challenges and events along the way as golfers make their way through 18 holes of play. The tournament is accompanied by a bevy of parties and events featuring Playboy Playmate and Girls of Playboy Golf.

Built in 1925, the McLaughlin Building was constructed as the Toronto dealership of the McLaughlin Motor Company, subsidiary of General Motors of Canada founded by R.S. McLaughlin of Oshawa. It is a rare Toronto example of a 20th-century-automobile showroom. The architect firm of Hutton and Souter designed the building in the Neo-Gothic style. Its main entrance features a stone arch and pediment above oak French doors. The east façade, which follows the curve of Bay Street, includes full height stone lintels and pilasters that define the large showroom windows. From 1955 until 2007, the Addison on Bay Cadillac dealership occupied the building.
