My intent was to capture this antelope for black and white because I thought the shades of his body vs. his horns and the back fence would look good in black and white.

Son of Edmund Anthony Jefferson Maynard and Margaret Blanche Maynard, of Hoon Ridge, Hilton, Derbyshire.

Commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial

My intent was to capture this landscape of this lighthouse in our Buffalo harbor. I framed the photo to not have any water toward the bottom of the image and wanted to keep the focus on the left side of the image with the water stretching out to the right so the viewer can imagine the water continuing out to the right.
