Pale yellow aquilegia in our garden. Have a great Thursday everyone!

Mirijam is on of three Southern White Rhinos in acres of space in Woburn Safari Park, she can be identified by her bent right ear. She must have a very large bladder, thought she`d never stop. Taken through the car window.

Young Grey Heron in St James`s Park London. I think he was watching for baby birds from the nearby trees.

Seconds later he was pecking at the car window. Ostrich in Woburn Safari Park, thank goodness the window was shut.

Last night as he was working on fixing the landscaping at the Studio/Galleries rebuild. He's definitely the builder in the family. It's coming along! He's the best!

Abstract Universe

Marvel Stadium, our Premier Melbourne Sporting ground sits directly behind me as I capture the last vestiges of an almost non-existent sunset at Docklands.

I could hear the roar and rumble of the football fans, reaching a joyous celebration as either a goal was kicked or a the hum of a boo when an umpire decision was deemed unfair.

Unfortunately for me, the cheers were not for my football team (a sherrin oval football- not a round ball ;-)) Hawthorn who got thrashed by St Kilda. I was happy we were outside the ground and not in there watching their demise!

"I have learned that love can turn

Like the seasons

And I know you had to go

You've got your reasons

Still I wish you would stay

Tell me why you are going away

It hurts me not knowing

And I believe that love's light leaves in September

But Fall; and all I do is remember

Still I wish you would stay"
