Salo, Limone del Garda e dintorni

fake culture tribute

Il popolo che stava nelle tenebre,

ha visto una gran luce;

su quelli che erano nella contrada e nell'ombra della morte

una luce si è levata.

I met Matteo at the press office of the Ferrara Buskers Festival, we were both waiting for our pass. He had a reflex mounted on the hugest monopod I've ever seen, and he was attracted by my film camera: love at first sight!

He was shooting a documentary for a travel French site, he didn't know the place so I offered to show him the best spots, spent some time together and had great fun.

He told me his job is shooting this two minutes documentaries for that site, showing places and making short interviews. The fee is not that big, but he's got friends everywhere so with some couch-surfing he can make a living.

He's got an approach to people quite similar to mine when I worked at Club Med, that's probably why we were so in tune.

I didn't expect him to say the usual "I'm not photogenic at all" when I proposed him to take his picture but hey, that's the way world goes.
