Height of ticks indicate graduation value - 4pixel tall increments indicate 0-9, 2pixel short mark 0-4
That is five then ten from edge, repeating. base line reads: "<8=o)— MT"
This scale is beyond the display range of most video playback, and will not interfere with subject.
Digital MPG4 compression renders the scale as blips and blobs in grey, still useful for image measurement but "out of focus" and barely noticeable on the best overscan studio monitors.

Doris Leon Menard was born in 1932 in Erath, LA (south of Lafayette), where he lives today. He grew up listening to Country music, and Hank Williams in particular. He combined a career as a musician, with one making chairs. The backing musicians at this gig included his grand-daughter Nelda, several members of the Jambalaya Cajun Band - Terry Huval (who usually plays fiddle), Reggie Matte and Kenneth David (who usually plays bass) and Kenneth’s son Thomas (bass player with the Pine Leaf Boys) on drums.
