Handling Specialty created this solution for AGV maintenance.
This is a four post, mechanically actuated floor mounted lift based on our 'Cargo-Vator' line of large,
platform lifts. Instead of a solid lifting platform, a 3-sided 'open' platform was designed allowing the AGV to drive
into the lifting frame while in the fully collapsed position. Electrically monitored engagement bars were positioned through the lifting frame into the frame of the AGV.
The operator then raised the lifting frame with the AGV positively engaged to a comfortable working height allowing full access to the underside of the AGV. The system's design provides smooth, synchronized, jerk-free vertical motion and is inherently self-locking at any elevation eliminating the possibility of free fall.
