Two angels with matching tastes. She likes chocolates and so does he. He likes little dogs and so does she. Matching likes, matching wings, matching cuteness! A match made in heaven!

SD60s are a fairly rare treat in my neck of the woods. Here we see a consecutively numbered ex-Conrail pair, NS 6711 and the leader NS 6712, pulling stone loads into Enola Yard on A Track on a raw March afternoon.

Ein bisschen Spielerei während man zu Hause bleiben soll. Ich hoffe euer Feuer für die Fotografie brennt auch zu Hause :).

I just loved the fact her hat and hair colour matched ;-)
Hope the quality has kept on this shot. Having to upload if off my phone via all sorts of weird methods thanks to some pikey stealing the wires down at the Internet exchange place leaving me with no Internet.
In the 1990s Burlington Northern rebuilt two ex-Northern Pacific F9s for executive train service. They traveled around the system until the merger with Santa Fe, when they were sent to the Illinois Railway Museum. Unfortunately, IMHO, they were painted in one of worst paint schemes ever designed for a diesel locomotive - it was just ghastly. I mean, what idiot comes up with a design that paints the roof of a diesel white? Just picture this train with proper BN green cars and the Fs in green with the passenger white "hockey stick" instead.
This view shows the A-B set of Fs pulling a special south at Brook Park, Minn. on Sept. 14, 1995. I'll give it one thing - at least the cars and locomotives match.
Thankfully this scheme was given its proper burial after the merger with the Santa Fe.
Tried to capture the striking of a match on the match box, but when I Finally got a few captured at the right time, it didn't seem to work.
So this is a split second after as the flare just dies down.

A trio of Union Pacific C40-8s were passing through De Kalb on an overcast day along the Geneva Subdivision.
It's not always sunny in DeKalb, but those funky clouds and old school GE power make this an okay image.
Halfway through an imposed 10 day health isolation period, I have had ample time to observe greedy Bluejays feeding off of my wife's overly generous helpings of shelled peanuts.
One ability they have that even crows can't seem to match is to half swallow a peanut lengthwise in their throats and leave just enough room at the opening of their beak to swiftly snatch another peanut sideways and fly off with their double booty.

the ends of.
I use these to light our wood burning stove at night. I gather that aspen and poplar are the main woods used for match manufacture
the box of these matches says that they are "The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) 100%" I was intrigued by this and hadnt noticed it before!
Looking this up it means that they are made from wood from from forests that are managed responsibly and in a way that benefits the local community and the environment.
"The FSC's mission is to ensure that forests thrive for all, and they work to encourage businesses to make ethical and responsible choices"
