I commissioned this piece from Ernesto Araneta of Cebu some ten years ago. Its made from one solid block of Santol wood, and the only addition made were the hands of St. James. The sword and flagpole are now missing. This was blessed in the Archdiocesan Shrine of St. James the Apostle in Compostela, Cebu.
Last night, I asked Fr. Romeo Desuyo to bless this image again, since it was stocked in the bodega for a long, long time.
