I decided that the cover of my journal needed something more then just doodles. So, I used a bunch of this colored masking tape I had (I don't really remember the project I had in mind when I purchased it). I tried to do some designs with it but it was so much easier and fun to just wrap it around from front to inside. I lost count of how many rolls of tape I used and I probably covered several of the colors so you can't see them but I like the outcome. Not only does it look neat, but it feels all squishy. Both sides of the cover look different which I love.
Got the idea for this project from Keri Smith who sells Wreck This Journal from Amazon.com. She also has a blog which is where I got the idea to use one of my old journals and wreck it since I couldn't afford to buy Keri's version.

Among the last 3M donation shipment was a veritable mountain of masking tape, of which this is but a small peice.
