Nobel Prize for Peace was not given to him because he himself was the Manifestation of Peace!!!
Sure, before 65 Years, the world witnessed his adventures!!!
He reached the Heaven a 64 years ago on 30th January.

Shaheed Minar is a name of an emotion on our heart that symbolizes the eternal relation between a Bengal mother & her boys. The Mother always protect her boys
To protect the prestige of mother ,boys sacrificed themselves.
Sawing this sacrifice,mother is blessing her boys by bending down his head with love.

Shaheed Minar, a great monument designed by Hamidur Rhaman , depicting the incident of sacrifice of martyrs(specially students) at Dhaka in 1952 for equal status of native tongue 'Bengali'. Others,like sculptor Novera Ahmed,Architect M.S.Jafer were also involved with him to build up this monument. Hamidur Rhaman was a pioneer artist ,who arranged first solo exhibition on abstract painting in Bangladesh(east Pakistan).He is known as a revolution for his Mural works.
Although ,full implement of the whole design of Shaheed Minar designed by Hamidur Rhaman has faced difficulties over time to time due to many unwanted causes(vandalism of Pakistani military force, political selfishness, bureaucratic problems,negligence to art) before & after the independence of Bangladesh ,but the main theme of 'mother with her boys' remains alive in the present Shaheed Minar.
This meaningful design of the monument was his own tribute to the martyrs of language movement .

This memorial was built at the entrance to what was Balboa High (American) School in the Canal Zone. President Kennedy’s declaration that the U.S. and Panamanian flags should be flown together at all nonmilitary sites prompted Zonian students to raise the American flag alone outside Balboa High School on January 7, 1964. The teenagers guarded the flag for two days before a group of 200 Panamanian students marched from nearby Panama City intent on raising the Panamanian flag. During their intent the Panamanian flag was torn.
Thousands of angry Panamanian citizens took to the streets, forced their way into the Zone, and attacked American-owned businesses. The Canal Zone police were overwhelmed, and the U.S. Army took over, responding to the violence with tear gas and rifle fire.
In Panama, January 9, is referred to as Martyrs' Day, and is a national holiday.

On January 30, 1948, the ‘Father of the Nation’ was assassinated at Gandhi Smriti in the Birla House during the evening prayers.
He was a great freedom fighter who taught the lesson of non-violence and worked on building the unity of the nation which was broken by the British.
