This is the mountain range across from Maroon Bells near Aspen, Colorado. I love the textures and color. The sky was completely washed out so I replace it in Photoshop. Not perfect, but fun to work on.

I hope you all Enjoy!!!
The PalafÃtico pier of Carrasqueira is built on wooden poles and looks magical according to high/low tides. One could spend here hours on end watching the sun go down and fishermen go back to their base.
DMIR 403 and 215 shove a cut of freight cars into the E Yard at Proctor Yard on June 6, 2022. The St. Louis River Road bridge is always a nice evening shot and has been populated by a few more fans lately since 403 found its way out of Canada and back to Proctor late last month. Just like last fall, the day after 403 arrived at Proctor, it was put on the E Lead Switch Soon the 403-215 were paired together and here the maroons work the 17:00 E Lead at 20:30 a week ago.

Maroon Bells is located in Maroon Bells, Colorado.
The Maroon Bells are two peaks in the Elk Mountains, Maroon Peak and North Maroon Peak, separated by about a third of a mile. The mountains are on the border between Pitkin County and Gunnison County, Colorado, United States, about 12 miles southwest of Aspen. Both peaks are fourteeners. Maroon Peak, at 14,163 feet (4317.0 m), is the 27th highest peak in Colorado. North Maroon Peak, at 14,019 feet (4273.0 m), is the 50th highest. The view of the Maroon Bells to the southwest from the Maroon Creek valley is commonly photographed. The peaks are located in the Maroon Bells–Snowmass Wilderness of White River National Forest. HMMM!
The most photographed mountains in North America, in Aspen/Snowmass Colorado. The Maroon Bells are two peaks in the Elk Mountains, Maroon Peak, and North Maroon Peak, separated by about half a kilometer (one-third of a mile), Both peaks are fourteeners. Maroon Peak, at 14,163 feet (4317 m), is the 27th highest peak in Colorado. North Maroon Peak, at 14,019 feet (4273 m), is the 50th highest (depending on how they are counted).

The snowy scene on the mountains always is so beautiful to behold! This is one of my favorite mountains to visit in Colorado as it is very accessible and very beautiful. You can tell that summer is on its way but winter is stubborn to let go. The changing seasons in Colorado are very beautiful and special to witness.
It took a little bit of waiting for the sunny railfan shot of the Missabe maroon pair once they were assigned to the E Lead Switch (actually 8 days of trying on the St. Louis River Road bridge), but we were able to get the DM&IR 215 and 403 working the north end of Proctor Yard here on September 27, 2021. Good thing we got the Missabe pair on day 8 as they only lasted on this job for 9 days. DMIR 215 and 403 are still together at Proctor but have spent the last few days inside the Diesel House.
Lots of CN painted EMDs continue working around Proctor as seen here around the yard, but two maroons look more at home even shuffling freight cars.
One of the most famous spots for photographers is Maroon Bells at sunrise in the fall. I was there in July (not Fall) and in direct sun in early afternoon. So I did my best to capture this incredible scene near Aspen, Colorado.
Hiking the Crater Lake trail in Aspen, Colorado we spotted this view through the Aspen trees.
