Windsor Avenue was getting painted by Clatterbuck Pavement Markings on Thursday on the new pavement. The turning lanes and the crosswalk were painted using Thermoplastic white with glass beads for the work on Windsor Ave. and also on Edgemont Ave as well. Arrows and letters are outlined first and then the 500 degree Thermoplastic is applied.
I do prefer the neon green colour that the North Americans use for road marking. Much better than the dark green used in the UK.

There are uniform flat headstones with names and some really old dates that replaced the standing headstones back in the early sixties. Not all graves were marked, someone needed to pay for the new headstone, so folks whose relatives had left the area have been lying in unmarked graves for decades. Today I saw a surveyor team marking a grave with pink spray paint. Looks like E A Newell will be locatable soon. I wonder what the delay was.

What hasn’t changed is the undeniable strength and tenacity of our Jewish community, in Israel, in Milwaukee, and around the world.
This October 7, Jewish Milwaukee came together for an evening of hope and unity as we honored the resilience of our people, while remembering the spirit and vitality of the bright lights lost.
