Piaggio ist eine italienische Marke für Motorroller, die im Jahr 1884 gegründet wurde. Das Unternehmen begann als Hersteller von Eisenbahnwaggons und Schiffsausrüstung, erweiterte sein Portfolio später auf Motorroller. Heute stellt Piaggio auch Kleintransporter und E-Fahrzeuge her.

Elephant Brand
I found this in the box of my late father's (pre-) war memorabilia. Elefanten shoes for children were first produced in 1928, this tag could have been bought (together with a pair of shoes, of course) anytime between 1930 and the early seventies. Wasn't able to find a reliable time table for this brand's trademark tags.
This tag has a diameter of 23mm

Die alte Mundharmonika von meinem Vater.(geboren 1911.)
Ein liebes Erinnerungsstück,er spielte mir als Kind immer etwas vor.
An Geburtstagen spielte er ein Ständchen.
Eine Veränderung gab es beim stets zur Mittagszeit in Ingolstadt startenden Autotransportzug nach Bremerhaven-Speckenbüttel, mit dem fabrikneue Fahrzeuge der Marke Audi für den Export nach Übersee befördert werden. Lange Zeit wurde diese Leistung von TXL gefahren, nun ist Dispo-Tf Rail das ausführende EVU. Als Stammlok scheint sich die erst dieses Jahr ausgelieferte 192 115 zu etablieren. Am 12. April 2025 konnte ich besagten Zug samt fabrikneuen Smartron an der Spitze bei Breitenfurt im Altmühltal fotografieren.
There has been a change to the car transport train that always departs from Ingolstadt at lunchtime for Bremerhaven-Speckenbüttel, which transports brand-new Audi vehicles for export overseas. For a long time, this service was operated by TXL, but now Dispo-Tf Rail is the operating railway company. The 192 115, which was only delivered this year, seems to be establishing itself as the regular locomotive. On 12 April 2025, I was able to photograph the train in question, with the brand-new Smartron at the front, near Breitenfurt in the Altmühl valley.

Der Horch 830 ist ein Pkw der Oberklasse mit Achtzylinder-V-Motor und Hinterradantrieb, den die zur Auto Union gehörende Marke Horch auf der 23. Internationalen Automobil- und Motorrad-Ausstellung (IAMA) im Februar 1933 in Berlin als Nachfolger des Typs 430 (Horch 8) vorstellte. Die ersten Fahrzeuge kamen im Herbst 1933 zur Auslieferung.

In het najaar van 2021 werkte Infrabel een geruime tijd aan het spoor op lijn 75A tussen Froyennes en Moeskroen. Zowat alles wat je je kan bedenken, werd vernieuwd. Overwegen werden aangepakt, ballast werd gezeefd, stations werden gerenoveerd enz. De lijn was vanzelfsprekend volledig onderbroken voor alle treinverkeer. Daardoor zou station Moeskroen enkel nog maar door de IC Lille-Flandres - Kortrijk worden bediend. De NMBS besliste hierop om de IC Schaarbeek - Kortrijk gedurende die periode door te trekken naar Moeskroen. Waar dergelijke treinsamenstellingen zoals op de foto normaliter niet te zien zijn buiten de spitsuren, werden ze ineens courant te zien met een extra verbinding per uur voor Moeskroen. Ik profiteerde dan ook van de door 21 en 27 getrokken omlopen.
Je zou het haast niet meer geloven, maar ik hoefde amper graffiti te verwijderen in Photoshop. Drie jaar geleden reden onze treinen er nog ietsje properder bij. Vandaag de dag zijn gelijkaardige samenstellingen op deze verbinding haast niet meer om aan te zien.
De 2721 was op 8 november 2021 kort voor de middag onderweg met IC 5130 uit de Belgische hoofdstad naar Moeskroen, alwaar gekeerd zou worden.

Klassikertreffen Rüsselsheim 2017
Der Oldsmobile 88 (auch Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight) war ein Auto, das von 1949 bis 1999 von Oldsmobile, einer Marke von General Motors, gebaut wurde. Zunächst stellte der 88 das mittlere Modell der Marke dar, von 1951 bis 1960 fungierte er als Einstiegsmodell. Nachdem Oldsmobile auch kleinere Wagen baute, nahm der 88 seine Stelle etwas oberhalb der Mitte der Modellpalette ein.
1958 erhielt die Baureihe den Beinamen Dynamic, ein breiter Kühlergrill mit aufgedoppelten Stoßfängern und Doppelscheinwerfer zierten die Front. Die hinteren Kotflügel waren an den Seiten mit jeweils drei verchromten Zierleisten versehen, was ihnen ein waschbrettartiges Aussehen verlieh.

Der Wanderer W 22 ist ein Pkw der Mittelklasse der Marke Wanderer mit 2-Liter-Sechszylindermotor und Hinterradantrieb. Die Auto Union stellte ihn 1933 als größere Ausführung des Wanderer W 21 mit 1,7-Liter-Motor vor. Beide wurden im Konstruktionsbüro von Ferdinand Porsche in Stuttgart als Porsche Typ 7 entwickelt. Der W 22 war als viertürige Limousine und zweitüriges Cabriolet (vier Fenster) auf dem Markt.

Zum 30jährigen Jubiläum der Marke "ICE" hatten 401 066 und 566 wieder den klassischen zweifarbigen Zierstreifen in orientrot und pastellviolett erhalten. Hier macht sich der Jubiläumszug im Bahnhof Berlin Gesundbrunnen auf die Fahrt als ICE1043 nach Binz.
To mark the 30th anniversary of the "ICE" brand, 401 066 and 566 were once again given the classic two-colour decorative stripes in oriental red and pastel violet. Here, the anniversary train departs from Berlin Gesundbrunnen station on its journey to Binz as ICE1043.

Indeed , this was one very mizzley morning up at Minions on Bodmin Moor and a hot pasty each went gown a treat from the local village store and Post Office .
Think you will find this is part of Marke Valley Mine on the slopes of Caradon Hill .
Mining
Mining has been a part of life in the Minions area for hundreds of years from the early Bronze age onwards. There are several Lodes containing Copper and Tin. Some of these are Jenkin, Prosper, Grace Dieu, Greenhills, Great Shelstone and Stowes Lode. Grace Dieu was noted in the late 16th Century and was being mined before 1730. A Newcomen engine was supposed to have been installed at Stowes Mine at the same time.
Marke Valley Mine
The Marke Valley Mine was on the north side of Caradon Hill. It consisted of Salisbury Shaft, West Rosedown Mine and Wheal Jenkin. Copper and Tin was mined here throughout the 1800's.
Phoenix United Mine
Phoenix United Mine was the richest Mine in East Cornwall it was in operation from 1842 to 1898. Wheal Phoenix and West Phoenix at one time had eight engine houses on this site to wind bump and stamp the ore. The Prince of Wales Shaft being the last to close in 1914.
South Phoenix Mine
South phoenix Mine consisted of Housemans Shaft and Parsons Shaft, Housemans engine house is now partially restored as the Minions Heritage Centre.
South Caradon Mine
South Caradon Mine worked from 1837 to 1885 and consisted of Jopes Shaft, Rule North Shaft, Rule South Shaft, Kittows Shaft and Sumps Shaft. Sumps was very deep at 457 meters (1500 feet)

Tempo ist die erste deutsche Marke für Papiertaschentücher.
Der Markenname verselbständigte sich in Deutschland im Laufe der Zeit als Gattungsname und man bezeichnete in der Umgangssprache häufig auch Papiertaschentücher anderer Marken kurz als „Tempo“
Das Einweg-Papiertaschentuch aus Zellstoff war die Produktidee der Gebrüder Rosenfelder der beiden führenden Inhaber der Vereinigten Papierwerke AG. Bereits am 29. Januar 1929 ließen sie das Warenzeichen Tempo beim Reichspatentamt in Berlin anmelden.
Das Stammwerk der Vereinigten Papierwerke befand sich in Heroldsberg bei Nürnberg, wo bereits vor 1929 Hygieneartikel hergestellt wurden. In den Jahren bis 1933 übernahmen erst Heimarbeiter das Falten der Taschentücher.

Tempo is the first German brand for paper handkerchiefs.
In the course of time, the brand name became independent in Germany as a generic name and paper handkerchiefs from other brands were often referred to as "Tempo" in everyday language.
The disposable paper handkerchief made of cellulose was the product idea of the Rosenfelder brothers, the two leading owners of the United Paper Works AG. As early as January 29, 1929, they registered the Tempo trademark with the Reich Patent Office in Berlin.
The main factory of the United Paper Works was in Heroldsberg near Nuremberg, where hygiene articles were already being manufactured before 1929. In the years up to 1933, only homeworkers took over folding the handkerchiefs ...

Der Mercedes-Benz W 110 ist ein Pkw der Marke Mercedes-Benz.
