Un monastero millenario incastonato nel mare, nei pressi di Camogli nella baia omonima, luogo detto anche Capodimonte, all'interno del parco terrestre e marino del Monte di Portofino. Un piccolo gioiello che ha una storia molto antica e che è stato generosamente donato al FAI. L'abbazia non è raggiungibile da alcuna arteria stradale, ma vi si puĂ² accedere soltanto via mare oppure percorrendo due panoramici sentieri: uno che scende dal soprastante monte di Portofino e l'altro che percorre la costa partendo dalla baia di Portofino. - Abbazia di San Fruttuoso di Capodimonte - Camogli (Genova)
An ancient monastery set in the sea, near Camogli in the bay of the same name, also called Capodimonte, inside the terrestrial and marine park of Monte di Portofino. A small jewel that has a very ancient history and that has been generously donated to the FAI. The abbey cannot be reached by any road artery, but can be accessed only by sea or by following two panoramic paths: one that descends from the overlying Portofino mountain and the other that runs along the coast starting from the bay of Portofino. - Abbey of San Fruttuoso di Capodimonte - Camogli (Genova)

Here's one from a few months ago on Inis Mor Island. I didn't get a chance to post it but I think it's too nice to hide away in the archives. I'm not sure what breed these are but certainly not the connemara you usually associate with the island. It started raining so I didn't hang around as I was on a bike and needed to get back before it became heavy.
