PIAZZA DEL POPOLO
L’ombelico della città di Fermo è la Piazza del Popolo, dai portici sempre animati di gente.
Sulla piazza prospettano il Palazzo Comunale, quello degli Studi (collegati tra loro per mezzo di una loggia) e l’antico Palazzo Apostolico. Molto bella e scenografica è la doppia scala esterna al Comune e notevole il portico d’ingresso. Sull’esterno è posta l’imponente statua di Papa Sisto V (del Sansovino), nativo della vicina Grottammare e vescovo locale.

PIAZZA DEL POPOLO
The heart of the city of Fermo is the Piazza del Popolo, with its arcades always bustling with people.
The square is overlooked by the Palazzo Comunale, the Palazzo degli Studi (connected to each other by a loggia) and the ancient Palazzo Apostolico. The double staircase outside the Town Hall is very beautiful and scenic and the entrance portico is remarkable. On the outside is the imposing statue of Pope Sixtus V (by Sansovino), a native of nearby Grottammare and local bishop.

INTERNO DEL SANTUARIO
Che tu sia credente o meno, se sei in vacanza nelle Marche, la Santa Casa è una tappa irrinunciabile. In pochi altri posti puoi ammirare tanta bellezza e tante opere d’arte e architettura tutte insieme.
Qui tutto è veramente suggestivo: l’aria di pace e tranquillità che si respira, il panorama che si gode dal colle in cui la Chiesa di Loreto si trova; una vista unica in cui i colori della campagna si mescolano con quelli del mare e lo sguardo può spaziare in un attimo dalla bellezza della Riviera del Conero alle cime dei monti Sibillini.
Secondo la leggenda, quando i crociati furono espulsi dalla Palestina durante l’invasione dei Turchi nel 1291, gli angeli trasportarono in volo la dimora della Vergine per salvarla dalla distruzione e inizialmente la posarono a Tersatto in Croazia, dove rimase per tre anni.
Qui però, oltre a non essere adorata come meritava, era continuamente preda di furti e razzie. Gli angeli decisero, quindi, di spostarla nuovamente attraverso il mare fino al territorio di Recanati e la posero su un colle di proprietà di una donna chiamata Loreta.
Era la notte tra il 9 e il 10 dicembre 1294. Da quel momento in poi la Chiesa rimase in questo territorio e divenne meta di tantissimi pellegrinaggi, tanto che intorno ad essa si sviluppò anche l’attuale borgo di Loreto.

INSIDE THE SANCTUARY
Whether you are a believer or not, if you are on holiday in the Marche, the Holy House is an essential stop. In few other places can you admire so much beauty and so many works of art and architecture all together.
Here everything is truly evocative: the air of peace and tranquility that you breathe, the panorama that can be enjoyed from the hill where the Church of Loreto is located; a unique view in which the colors of the countryside mix with those of the sea and the gaze can range in an instant from the beauty of the Riviera del Conero to the peaks of the Sibillini mountains.
According to legend, when the Crusaders were expelled from Palestine during the invasion of the Turks in 1291, the angels flew the home of the Virgin to save it from destruction and initially placed it in Trsat in Croatia, where it remained for three years.
Here, however, in addition to not being worshipped as it deserved, it was continually prey to thefts and raids. The angels then decided to move it again across the sea to the territory of Recanati and placed it on a hill owned by a woman named Loreta. It was the night between December 9 and 10, 1294. From that moment on, the Church remained in this territory and became the destination of many pilgrimages, so much so that the current village of Loreto also developed around it.

Le Marche, an eastern Italian region, sits between the Apennine Mountains and the Adriatic Sea. Ancona, its capital, is a port city on the Riviera del Conero, an area with sandy coves, limestone cliffs and medieval villages. Pesaro is the birthplace of renowned opera composer Rossini. The interior has countryside dotted with fortified hilltop settlements and the glaciated valleys of the Monti Sibillini National Park.
LA FATTORIA BIOLOGICA.
Le Marche sono state la prima regione d’Italia a fare produzione biologica, in anticipo anche sui primi regolamenti europei in materia, ovvero il “Regolamento relativo al metodo di produzione biologico dei prodotti agricoli e all’indicazione di tale metodo sui prodotti agricoli e sulle derrate alimentari” adottato dalla CEE nel 1991.
Gran parte delle aziende agricole biologiche che fanno parte del territorio marchigiano, non fanno solo coltivazione e produzione di trasformati, ma hanno anche una vocazione turistica, in quanto sono anche agriturismi.

THE ORGANIC FARM.
The Marche was the first region of Italy to make organic production, even ahead of the first European regulations on the subject, namely the "Regulation relating to the organic production method of agricultural products and the indication of this method on agricultural products and foodstuffs ”adopted by the EEC in 1991.
Most of the organic farms that are part of the Marche region, not only cultivate and produce processed products, but also have a tourist vocation, as they are also farmhouses.
