The guy in blue's job is to hold on to the wing and prevent the car from falling off, I guess.
To be fair, these guys did a really good job of getting the car off the track quickly. The right rear wheel, which fell off on the hill down towards turn 2, is by the guy's feet.
Poor Marc Basseng crashed the same car in more spectacular fashion at Road Atlanta, later the same season. He was ok both times, fortunately.
