This image shows some marbles in a little crystal goblet.
Unfortunately I have a protection net at the window which interferes in the image.
I rolled the marbles, but I couldn't shot good motion blur. So I moved the camera up and down.
Each marble is within 1 cm in diameter.
Taken for the “Macro Mondays” theme “Pick Two”.
I went with A5) Speckled and B2) Toy.
The marbles are in water and hopefully they look sort of dreamy and not just out of focus.

(47/365) For Macro Mondays theme "hard light" and 119 pictures in 2019 #73 "Marbles", this is a shot of some small blue marbles lit by a small LED flashlight held about 6" (2m) away. I think that was sufficient to produce the hard shadows I was after. The image width is about two inches.
This drawing is for Sofie!. She's the young daughter of a friend and she loves marbles. I'm gonna frame this and give it to her.
Defective Marbles I bought some new marbles but there flat on one side and do not roll, maybe I should take them back?

Beautiful place........But, if you ever go there, be prepare to fight with the flies, they are unmerciful.

These two marbles are the same - round glass ball with inserted colours. But subtly different indeed. The bokeh background is of the other marbles in the red bowl. This a montage! HSoS:)
I can't pull away from familiar and easy subjects. The light was so warm and amazing that I immediately reached for the marble jar and ran out the door. The sunrise now occurs just as I am working on getting my husband and daughter out the door for the day. What is your favorite fall back subject?
