"Then the dragon took his stand on the sand of the seashore.
And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads; and on its horns were ten diadems, and on its heads were blasphemous names. And the beast that I saw was like a leopard, its feet were like a bear's, and its mouth was like a lion's mouth. And the dragon gave it his power and his throne and great authority. One of its heads seemed to have received a death-blow, but its mortal wound had been healed. In amazement the whole earth followed the beast: They worshiped the dragon, for he had given his authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, 'Who is like the beast, and who can fight against it?'"
- The Revelation to John 12:18-13:4. (Dating from the mid-90s AD).
To those with ears to hear.
Early Christians under severe persecution from the Roman emperor Domitian would greet each other with this word:
Maranatha.

Revelation 22:17, 20, 21
(17) And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. … (20) He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. (21) The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
In this world we have Jesus
and each day
we can see,
all the beauty around us
that He gives
full and free...
If we stop and we're quiet
being still
in our place,
He will speak of His mercies
He will speak
of His grace.
He will come and refresh us
He will come
and abide,
He will never desert us
always stay
by our side.
We may not see Him clearly
with our eyes
that do fail,
rest assured
and be certain
that His Love
will prevail.
He's on high, He is coming...
no, He will
not delay.
Once the Father has spoken,
He will come
straight away.
All of those that have chosen
all the ones
that believe,
will be changed in a moment,
holy bodies
receive.
How I pray that you're with me
on that great
awesome day
as we enter our new life
and the old
pass away.
I don't know when He's coming
I don't know
when the day...
but I hope that it's soon, Lord
Maranatha!
I pray.
"You know ‘the time’ has come: you must wake up now: our salvation is even nearer than it was when we were converted. The night is almost over, it will be daylight soon – let us give up all the things we prefer to do under cover of the dark; let us arm ourselves and appear in the light. Let us live decently as people do in the daytime: no drunken orgies, no promiscuity or licentiousness, and no wrangling or jealousy. Let your armour be the Lord Jesus Christ" - Romans 13:11-14.
Today is the First Sunday of Advent, and this stained glass window of the Lord coming in glory, is in St John's Episcopal church, Scotland.
Someone who will take me up to the mountain to look at the stars in the summer.

Maranatha Church opens to a resounding success. The congregational singing is powerful enough to drown out the huge pipe organ. Speech is very high quality as well. Can you see all of the acoustical treatment?
For a newly built church, the total acoustical cost including the consulting, building materials and panels was less the 2% of the completed cost of the Sanctuary.
In case anyone is wondering, the sound system we designed includes the main loudspeaker, a Danley SM100F full range speaker with an Allen & Heath Digital Mixer and a Lab Gruppen Digitally controlled amplifier.
