BCOL 4616 and BCOL 4610 sit on one track at the old Martech plant in Welland while CN 2428 is on the end of the ever shortening line of scrapped units.
BCOL 4614 and CN 2114 lead their respective deadlines of CN GE C40-8 variants at Southern Yard in Welland Ontario.
All of these units have since been moved onto the old Martech property for K&K to chop up.
CN 2401 heads up a large dead line of Dash 8s in CN's Southern Yard waiting for disposition at what was till then Martech (now K&K) at the nearby Tube Spur in Welland, Ontario.
IC 1506 and CN 4100 sit on a spur within the old Martech Plant in Welland.
K&K Scrapping has been actively scrapping CN engines on this property, these two are presently not part of the scrap line but probably still are slated for it...
The dead line of Dash 8s is slowly shrinking at the K&K (former Martech) site in Welland, Ontario. Trillium's GMTX 340 is on site, running the nearby Tube Spur twice a week, shuttling loads and empties between Welded Tube and CN Southern Yard (in the CWLX cars; ex-DWC).
CN 421 approaches Port Robinson West with a completely normal consist of 28 engines, 25 of them being Dash 8s off to Martech for scrap..
Dead CN GE's sit alongside the old Martech Building and the ex Stelco centre cab switcher.
All units are in line for the torch.
In the frame is CN 2187, CN 2158, BCOL 4606, BCOL 4610 and CN 2428.
CN 2187 and CN 2407 await their fate at the K&K site (former Martech) in Welland, Ontario. Ex-Stelco unit 615 (nee 53) is being used by Trillium to move pipe cars between nearby Welded Tube and CN Southern Yard.
Martech's 615 (ex-Stelco unit) pulls ahead after spotting Procor tanks inside Martech's facility on the outskirts of Welland (former Stelpipe). The tanks will be cleaned for inspection of their lining. The blue unit at left is Welded Tube's.
MPRX 101 backs towards the Martech facility on the outskirts of Welland, Ontario to pull some tanks that have been in for inspection/service-related work.
