The best map we have of the island. The scanner cropped the top off, sorry. I'll see if I can get a better one soon

Map detailing WCS study areas and geography of Arctic Alaska.

These are my travel plans for this summer.

The red indicates the route going and the purple is suggestive of the return trip. I am going to Paris June 15 and returning from London August 2, after spending 5 weeks studying Arabic in Tunis.

On paper, it's at least 25 miles I biked yesterday but seeing as using MS Maps to try and chart this doesn't take into account a lot of off shoots and long cuts I took, There's no way I did less than 30 miles, not including many places I had to walk my bike through that can't be mapped because they weren't actual streets. Again, this is the BEST way to get around DC. I had no intentions of moving around so much in one morning but every time I figured I'd stop, I wasn't ever tired out. DC is relativly flat so there aren't a lot of hills to go up or down as you go.

Known as Goat Island today seen as Eilean na Gobhail on some Ordnance Survey maps. I'm guessing Coul was an anglicisation of Gobhail.
