Black Map is the map used during a bike trip in the Lake District. It shows the route taken over a 3 day trip from Penrith train station to Skiddaw Hostel (the highest youth hostel in England) to Honister Slate Mine (the last active slate mine in England) and back again.
Black Map looks to make sense of all the information found on a map, but can also be seen as an epitath to the mining industry that was once the life blood of the area.

another one finished?
maybe?!
this is the "interactive" map; the left bottom corner is a list of the lower 48, circles to check for states you intend to see and states you manage to visit.
too simple?
not obvious that it's interactive?
any advice would be awesome!
