I purchased a wonderful set of lobby cards from a seller in Germany.

Mannequins are real, they do not pretend to be something else. Its people that can be fake.

Description:

This self-directed piece in graphite is a textural contrast between the dress form as object and as shadow reflected on the wall behind it. I like the idea of the dress form as a blank canvas, waiting to be dressed, and yet I have hijacked its image to fill my own canvas space.
