Looking up at the 223 ft dome of the Manitoba Legislative Building from the marble floor in its basement. One of the finest public buildings in North America, this structure is full of Masonic symbols and Ordovician fossils. Camera lens is at the centre of the Pool of the Black Star, which is said to be the vertical axis for this structure. Somebody get a plumb-bob, please.
