Burlington Northern & Santa Fe's Stockton, California to Denver, Colorado manifest freight, with trackage rights on the Union Pacific, rolls east through Midvale, Utah with 25 cars on Nov. 30, 1996.
The train is about 10 miles into a 575 mile journey between Salt Lake City and Denver via the former Denver & Rio Grande Western.

The clouds parted for a little while this afternoon and I was able to get a photo.
The photo, of the Oliver Bridge, shows the relationship of the upper (rail) deck and lower (road) deck. It's a landmark dating from 1916, and in their own way so are the locomotives on the head end of the train. An SD75/C44-9W pair is kind of uncommon in the day of the GEVO. The bridge still sees many trains each day.
Challenging myself as usual. I nearly always have difficulty creating symmetry on these type of rotation shots and tonight was no exception. Happy to be messing around in the conservatory whilst the wind and rain is coming down outside.

La manifestation à Paris place de la République a été bloquée par la police, les manifestants sont donc restés place de la République toute l'après-midi.

The second drone shot of this train, taken on my way to the train show in Fargo. I managed to come home with money left and a couple of photos to boot so it was a decent day.
A long manifest train is catching some rays while gaining a little speed as he passes through Munger.
Rays of light burst though the clouds as a west bound manifest waits for an east bound to clear before heading towards the east portal of the Moffat Tunnel.
Not only must this train wait for the opposing train to clear, but also for the extract fans to clear the tunnel of exhaust gasses.

restructurations et de suppressions d’emplois dans les entreprises privées, publiques

I've been watching and hearing political demonstrations in Catalonia for months. One of them is the request for freedom to political prisoners where a yellow ribbon is used as a symbol. Walking through Barcelona, the gesture of green hope of these shoes with one of those ties drawn in the middle of the avenue, forced me to pick it up.
Manifest southbound on the Missabe Sub. It was cold enough to snap your finger off when you pressed the shutter button.
A Union Pacific manifest climbs its way up through the Clear Creek Ravine in Bealville, CA and is exiting tunnel 5, blowing exhaust high up into the air. The train’s DPUs are seen through the smoke, moments from entering tunnel 3 below, while off in the distance a BNSF intermodal is seen climbing the grade at Allard and is quickly approaching the manifest.
