FINALLY! I did the pink this afternoon. I was terribly upset wen I saw it after I dried it. It's too pale. I wanted a darker, brighter hot pink. I almost cried from frustration because of all the work I put into it and then for it to not come out right. In some places it's kind of orangey. After sitting with it for a while, I've decided that it's not as awful as I thought it was. I still ordered this though, and I can't wait til it comes in. The picture at the bottom of the page is what I want. And I know my eyebrows kind of throw it off a bit, but I'm going to fix them when I get the Manic Panic dye.

So I finally picked up pink dye today! All through school I had pink hair, bright freakin' pink hair and I loved every piece of it. Then when I grew up and got a job I had to loose the fun hair. Now that I'm a stay at home mom, I am SO ready to bring some pink back! I have brown hair with platinum & black streaks now, so I think I will dye the front blond streaks pink. Then maybe more once I get my hair redone.

While editing this photo I contemplated whether or not I should edit out the scar on my knee, that I got while having a rod surgically placed in my leg after breaking it. But I decided against it, as it adds more of a 'raw' feeling to the image, and whether I like it or not, it's part of me now. I think it actually looks pretty cool. And I quite like scars in the sense that they remind you of what you've experienced in life.
Also my dear friend Rachel assisted me in taking this self portrait, so thank you for being my human tripod, and for having such a beautiful home <3.

i love having a backyard. even if my neighbors all stare at me while i'm taking photos for etsy. i wonder what they're thinking when I lug my tripod and a huge bag of clothes out every day.
Dip dyed my hair for the summer. My mom was a little freaked out at first, but she got used to it. haha

Full view of my first rainbow hair.
I bleached my hair down to pale blonde with 30 volume developer first.

Manic Panic Red Passion at the roots, large section of Manic Panic Electric Banana next. Use fingers to blend upwards into red (creating orange). Apply section of Manic Panic Shocking Blue, blend blue upwards *carefully* into yellow (creating green - blue will easily stain yellow!!!). Next section is Manic Panic Purple Haze, then finally Manic Panic Hot Hot Pink on the remaining tips.
Winston is high maintenance.

Mkaaiii, soo. I love this. I'm not sure why. But I'm sort of loving the simplicity of it.
Seems the simple pictures I like the most.. It's just me, my camera, and my ideas.

I bought a human hair wig and coloured it with Manic Panic's colours. I'm in love with this! I have used "Atomic Turquoise" "Electric Lizard" and "Cotton Candy Pink"
Manic Panic Purple Haze (and Mystic Heather mixed in front) on natural hair (top layers) and bleached (under layer).

I attempted to curl my hair before going to see a Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert. As you can see, the curls did not hold well.
I had third row floor seats, which was awesome, but also regretful as there were lots of blacklights, and every time they came on my hair lit up! I felt like more people were staring at me than at the stage... Slightly embarrassing.
