La malva es una planta herbácea, perenne o bienal, de la familia de las malváceas. Muy variable de tamaño, puede medir entre los 20 y los 150 cm de alto. Está muy ramificada, suele ser erecta, pero a veces aparece postrada. Tiene las hojas grandes, de forma palmeada, divididas en cinco lóbulos muy dentados. Las flores, muy bellas, presentan los pétalos escotados, de color rosa o púrpura, atravesados por finas venas más oscuras. El fruto o mericarpo es una cápsula pentagonal, que contiene las semillas en su interior. La malva tiene una floración larga y persistente...

Die MOSCHUSMALVE,
auch indische Hibiscus-Malve oder Abelmoschus ist eine heimische, in Europa beheimatete Pflanze.
Sie wächst überall dort, wo man sie wachsen lässt: an Feldrändern, Böschungen, auf Wiesen und bei mir im Garten.
Mit ihren hellrosa Blüten setzt sie einen zarten farbigen Akzent in Naturgärten und der angenehme Duft der Moschusmalve lockt Bienen und andere Insekten an.

Malva is a genus of herbaceous annual, biennial, and perennial plants in the family Malvaceae. It is one of several closely related genera in the family to bear the common English name mallow. The genus is widespread throughout the temperate, subtropical and tropical regions of Africa, Asia and Europe.
