The smart, confident, and versatile Belgian Malinois is a world-class worker who forges an unbreakable bond with his human partner. To deny a Mal activity and the pleasure of your company is to deprive him of his very reasons for being.
I know I post a lot of Evey With Her Head Down shots....but just look at her. LOOK.
If you'd like to follow my work on Facebook, you can do so here:
Foster puppy gets squeaky clean and no longer smells like vomit. Fab.
She's about 4 months old and was an owner surrender at a local shelter. Too active, mouthy, and constantly underfoot (uh, it's a malinois?). So she'll be staying here while we search for an appropriate home!
**Explored! Thank you guys so much!
I had an idea in mind, but the clouds said no. For the past several years, my photos have been of my dogs and they're the reason I started taking photos at all. Now I'm trying to bring myself into the photos because it's a journey that we've been on together.
It's been nothing been rain the past week. Blarg. Grimm doesn't actually mind, but I would have preferred some nice weather so that we could go take pretty pictures with the blooming trees.
The Dog was well past his expiration date and extremely ripe.
I broke out the fish-eye lens because *R* (Doggy Daycare Guy) made a special request. He wants a picture of Moto chewing on a toy bone using this lens for his website.
Once the Dog is dry, we'll begin his photo shoot. I just hope I can get something....as you know, this dog isn't used to being in front of the camera *snort*
If not for this happy face, I would be pretty content to spend the winter months indoors. How can I say no to this though?
Had a wonderful Saturday on the Hood Canal with a few co-workers and took a quick shot of Grimm this morning. I have some more creative ideas brewing, but am waiting for those long, early, warm summer mornings to work on them. In the meantime, these flowers just showed up one morning this week without any help from me. ...the opposite of help, really, since I had Grimm lay on them for this picture.
Another week and more photo plans foiled. This time by more than just rain. A tornado! In Washington? In December?! Needless to say, we were all surprised. I thought to go out this morning, but it was a downpour all morning. Of course, as I sat to edit this photo, the sun came out. lol Some days.
Grimm & Jonah & I hope everyone is enjoying the season.
Sorry for the out of focus contribution this week. My camera started having issues and this is the best we could get whilst trying to figure that out.
I have big plans for the coming week's photo though! Hope I can pull it off!
Hope everyone had a wonderful Turkey Day with family and friends.
My handsome new Malinois puppy, Blow Your Mind von Fulk "Epic." He will be doing Schutzhund and agility.
I can't say that I pay much attention to sports, but folks out here in Washington seem pretty excited about the Seahawks game today. While Grimm & I likely won't watch the game, we did go to a nearby playground to take some pictures on the bleachers. This is a "sporty" as we get.
I did a photo session this past weekend with two malinois that have been adopted out of Woof Project.
This is what he did after I put his squirrel(s) in the pantry (the door behind him). WHAT a drama queen!!!
This dog NEVER just lays on the tile in the kitchen (unless I'm cooking and he's hoping I drop something)
This did not turn out at all as planned. Blarg. I don't like learning curves. I just want to know how to do all the things right away.
I turned 40 this past Friday. Not sure if I care about that number, or not.
Obligatory Evey-in-flowers photo. She's pretty.
