Chess is great.....a fun game....but it does have a finite amount of moves. Bobby Fischer vs. Greenblatt proved that. Ultimately, I prefer Backgammon because you toss in the random roll of the dice. You have to know what to do....with what you roll....at the right time. Now, that.....is fun!!!
I think I was most proud that I visualized this, and managed to produce the picture. I'm not in love with the results, but I think I'm getting there.
My roommate saw me dragging this stuff out and asked "Are you symbolizing that marriage is toxic?" While I love that idea, it wasn't really the direction I was headed. Last night at work solidified the exact reason I wanted to get out of the Air Force. You can't make a single move without checking 10 steps ahead of you. We're all supposed to be on the same team, and yet, your coworkers will cut your throat just to be the last man standing. (I'm not talking about my direct coworkers either, those guys are awesome-I'm talking about all the other douche bags that are ungrateful and don't appreciate us). I know it's not like this every where, and by no means am I dogging the military. I know civilian and military alike get this lovely treatment. Last night just gave me such a headache. We're supposed to be here for one another, and a few bad apples always manage to spoil it for everyone. So, yeah. I'm glad to be off for the next couple of days. Ungrateful assholes...
The 'Make Your Move' festival event had an airbag setup for doing bike stunts. It was all very picturesque under the trees but the low light made it difficult to get a good exposure. These are my favorites from the day.
