Wonderful well maintained 3 bedroom home in desireable neighborhood. Sunny living areas, remodeled kitchen with oak cabinets, large master bedroom on main floor along with a second smaller bedroom and full bath. Large sunny family room with beautiful rock fireplace. Spacious gameroom/den with separate workout area, very large bedroom and 1/2 bath with laundry on lower level.
Home has had new vinyl siding installed along with all new vinyl windows in 2002. A new roof was installed in 2005 along with a new hotwater heater Concrete driveway with plenty of parking. This is the public maintained main trail that goes to the San Josef beach. From a trail near Doug's Camp, Mody and Marcella hiked onto the main trail and checked out the beautiful forest. On our last day at San Josef Bay, we packed our gear into the boats and paddled towards the mouth of the San Josef River. Continuing up river for a mile or so, we reached the boat launch that goes towards Doug's campground. John and Christian caught ride with Doug into Port Hardy and Mody and Marcella stayed at the campground, unpacking the boats and letting items dry out. John and Christian retrieved their vehicles in Port Hardy and drove back to Doug's Camp.
