In London, Notting Hill gesehen. Notting Hill ein Stadtteil von London mit viele kleinen Läden und so einiges interessantes.
Diese beiden Mädchen, obwohl zusammen, ist jeder mit seinen Smartphone beschäftigt. Dieses Smartphone hat unsere Gesellschaft verändert, ob zum Guten oder Schlechten sei dahingestellt.
Aber auch passend zu London fand ich die Atmosphäre, nach London könnte ich immer wieder. Ich mag diese Stadt und bisher haben wir so oft wir schon dort waren, immer nette Menschen kennen gelernt.

This old barn sits in Pennsylvania’s Fayette County on a quiet country road. Painted wit the iconic Mail Pouch Tobacco slogan, it stands out nicely against the late day December sunshine.
Kalurghat Bridge is the first bridge in Karnaphuli River. Kalurghat Bridge an old bridge, once the only link between the southern region of chittagong division on the bank of the river karnafuli with the rest of the country. This 239m long bridge was installed as a simple rail bridge of steel structure between Janalihut and Gomdandi railway stations in 1930. The bridge was commissioned for operation of trains in Chittagong-Dohazari section in the year 1931. Thirty-one years after its inauguration, considering the suffering of the people it was modified with decking and carpeting and turned into a rail and road-bridge in 1962.

কালুরঘাট সেতু কর্ণফুলী নদীর উপর প্রতিষ্ঠিত। প্রাগৌতিহাসিক যুগ হতে নদী পারাপারের জন্য স্থানটি কালুর ঘাট নামে নদী পারাপারে ভূমিকা রেখে আসলেও ১৯৩০ সালে ব্রিটিশ শাসনামলে এ রেল সেতুটি নির্মিত হয়। স্থানীয় ভাবে কালুরঘাট সেতুটি কালুরঘাটের পোল নামে বহুল পরিচিত। সেতুটির বয়স বর্তমানে ৯০ বছরেরও বেশি।
These (originally) olive green mail boxes belonging to the US Postal Service can be found in various, apparently random, locations. They are temporary storage boxes for letter carriers. They can be stocked with "relays," sacks or trays of mail for a delivery route, allowing the carrier to restock en route without either carrying a huge load or returning to a post office for more of the day's mail to deliver.
I remember being puzzled as a kid by the grammar of the statement found on some of them, "Not for deposit of mail." What kind of mail is "Deposit Of?"
This one does not look like it's in recent use.

Graceful curves, and great lighting fixtures, all in a staircase! I wanted to climb to the top to get a photo of the light fixture, but I didn't want to push my luck, I didn't belong there, but I was glad I took the chance. I was greatly rewarded. It might seem silly, but I've never been so excited or impressed by such a simple thing like a set of stairs in an office building before. I could have sat in a chair for a half hour just admiring the lines, the lighting, and the color in here.
Yeah, I guess I'm a geek. (laugh)

Conrail 3004 - 3354 - 6809 pass under the CPL signal bridge at Leetsdale, PA with Mail-9H on January 23, 1993. The 3004 is an old NYC unit.
