You have mail, by the train load

The British Rail class 325, built by ABB at Derby Litchurch Lane Works, solely to carry for Royal Mail, a total of 16 sets were built.

Passing through Crewe, headed by 325016 with 325007 at the rear, each set is made up of 4 unconnected unmanned carriages DTVA-PMV-TAV-DTVB, each with 4 roller shutters.

I love the large round oleo buffers, reminds me of the old CIE AEC Park Royals.

One of my favorite shots I snapped in 2015. See more of my favorites HERE

DesignLab was presented with the challenge of creating posters that represent different users based on feedback and data aquired by our UX team. We wanted them to be bold, simple, and effective. Pulling inspiration from my own persona portraits, as well as the work of Paula Scher, we created something unique and eye-catching. One of our designers, Justin Pervorse, created the hand drawn type. To help us keep all this important data in the front of our minds, we hung the posters in one of our most-trafficked rooms of MailChimp HQ. Now, we see and think about them every day.

Fascinating e-mail

An interesting exhibition at the Design Museum (it closed on 22 October). e-mail is dead certainly caught the attention of this woman.

I quite like this shot, but I should have zoomed in much closer. It’s always easier in hindsight!

Ponce De Leon Avenue is now bright and colorful here in Atlanta, GA. Five new billboards and four transit posters went up this week! Had a blast working on these at MailChimp.

Mailchimp is the main sponsor of CreativeMornings/NewYork and started creating custom slides based on that month's speaker. We feel that these are setting a new standard in how cool event sponsorship can actually be.

"Passion Never Fails"

I just realized I never uploaded this commission I did for Mailchimp back in Spring of 2015. It was funny getting paid to paint here considering the last time I was in this particular building it was empty and I was not supposed to be there.

Thank you so much to Monica Campana from Living Walls for hooking this up. It really meant a lot to me.
