Not a square for once but double square: panorama crop - 2:1.
Michael Levin did a few fantastic panorama style shots and this contact of mine M I N O R has inspired me too with his latest minimalistic panorama shot. Take a look at his work, he's one of the best B&W photographers on Flickr.

Woke up at 6am today. I was so fresh that I was just ready to get up...doesn't happen very often these days :)
I thought I would edit another photo from the Regents Park Meet Up.
I instantly loved this photo even looking at the screen on the back of the camera...so I was quite excited to edit it!
And I am very happy how it turned out! (which is also a very rare occasion) :D
btw...it was taken with my kit lens only...
Christine suits these shoots so much :)
An old leaf being reflected and magnified by the raindrops. I just thought it was an unusual shot. Have to run a couple of errands and then to work. Will be visiting as I can!! Thank you all for being so understanding!! Happy Tuesday!

The second in my infrequent series of self portraits (here's #1). Was tricky to line everything up right on my viewfinder while pulling such a pose.. Contrast and brightness upped to 'blend' me into the white background. Pity the eye isn't really in focus. Is that ironic?

Per viaggiare bisogna avere una casa da lasciare e dove tornare. Altrimenti sei un fuggiasco, un esiliato, un qivittoq*.
- Peter Hoeg, Il senso di Smilla per la neve
* […] the Qivittoq, people who leave society to live alone in the wild.
“Every once in a while, you might see one while you’re out hunting, but you’ll never be able to catch him. People say Qivittoq gain natural powers such as the ability to fly from mountain to mountain and the ability to run after reindeer,” said Lars-Peter Moerch Heilmann of Paamiut.

Not feeling so good this morning and Jackie was off shopping so tried to help by walking our dog.
I saw this feather and liked the way the water magnified the feather underneath.
+1 in comments.
I planned something different for my photo today but couldnt find my remote so went with this instead. The other idea wasnt something I could keep messing up the focus of cos ... well, cos.
I cant remember where I got this texture from which sucks but if anyone recognises it, let me know!
Work tomorrow from early in the morning.
I recently got some extension tubes and was amazed at the close focusing distance I can now get with them. This leaf is not much bigger than a 50 pence piece ! I had a rather cool flash setup as well for this shot. I had two ancient flash guns set up on a tripod with optical triggers and the built in flash on my camera set to 1/64 power. Compared to my previous shots, this double flash setup helped to reduce shadows and give a more even lighting.
