My last view of it-had it not been late sailing I could have got even better shots-no idea why it was delayed. Doh-couldn't miss train home!
Asteroidea. Sea star. Large biscuit-like star, colours variable yellows, fawn and orange. On seabed under jetty. Pentameral symmetry (five rays and arms) is typical.

I only have the one plant but it seems to have set seed. I thought it needed a male and a female plant
A showy colourful shrub with blue to pink to almost white flowers. Grows to 0.6 m.
