Well it's been fun. Too bad this little project didn't get much recognition, but that's just life so I'm not complaining. The next couple of weeks are going to be pretty busy for me, so don't expect (m)any posts. I do have some stuff planned, so stay tuned!

A mystical magician approaching the solitary spire he calls home, to study the stars, read his books, and do magic stuff!
Greatly inspired by the fabulous artworks of Péah. Normally I try build original completely compositions, but when I saw his work I just had to build it, it's so beautiful, and I'd love to build more of it!
This is my main exhibit for the upcoming Auckland Brick show this weekend and Brickcon-NZ the following weekend, been tinkering with it for several months now, it was worth doing well I think :) unfortunately some bricks cough*lugbulk*cough haven't yet arrived which I would have loved to use, but you can't have everything can you? was a very fun build with some cool techniques and (what I think) is an awesome colourscheme, the ground is flesh and those accents are light and warm yellowish orange, I think? I finally found a use for all that medium azure i accidentally bought last year! :D

Uxmal, surrounded by legends, myths and anecdotes, poetic in its name and history, is located next to a series of hills known by the name of Puuc Mayan language meaning "mountain" and that was the name which subsequently received the architectural style of that region.
The most impressive structure with a height over 35 meters (38 yards) is the Pyramid of the Magician, The Convent, another of its great buildings, named by the Spanish as it reminded them of a European nunnery, was probably used as a school of traditional healers, astrologers and priests.
At its height was home to about 25,000 Maya. Like the other Puuc sites, it flourished in the Late Classic period (around 600-900 AD).

I went out to get in my car to go to work and noticed the moon was just above this telephone pole. It struck me as looking like some magician's trick with a glowing ball sitting on a string, and rolling along it. I bet that trick has a name. But no tricks with my photography.
A faceless magician who blends into the world around him.
No one really knows who he is maybe just a dreamer lost in his own stories.
Away from people’s eyes, he lives happily, free to be himself and follow his own path.
A street magician that I met on a recent trip to the French Quarter. He had an awesome show, full of personality. You could tell that he had spent many years honing his sleight of hand skills and polishing his presentation to the audience. I am trying out using higher ISO in my photography. Till now I have tried to do everything I could to avoid noise in my photos and I believe that it has been handicapping my creative output
